Patient Access Coordinators (PAC) are the gateway to care for our applicants to become patients with one-call resolution.  PAC’s will answer calls live, doing a high level assessment to determine clinical appropriateness for one of our facilities and verification of benefits.  PAC’s will collaborate with a number of other roles within the organization to provide resolution for the caller in the first call and to set up an appointment for a clinical assessment when appropriate.  Customer service and sales are important skills, along with the ability to multi-task. - Utilize customer service and sales skills to provide resolution to caller’s needs. - Conduct screening to determine clinical fit for Hazelden Betty Ford substance abuse services. - Obtain financial and insurance/benefit information in order to determine eligibility to participate in the programs available through HBFF locations. - Manage patient caseload to ensure conversion to admit. - Ensure appropriate documentation is recorded in patient record to facilitate complete and accurate registration in the EHR.

Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of co-occurring mental health needs of patients. Treatment of patients will involve assessment and therapy, including group therapy, with patients who present with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorder diagnoses. The Co-Occurring Professional provides advanced clinical services in coordination with the treatment team consistent with Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation’s Standards of Care. The primary purpose is to provide group therapy and individual counseling/therapy services to persons with co-occurring substance abuse disorder and mental health conditions. This role integrates mental health treatment with addiction recovery within a 12 Step, abstinence-based model.   The Co-Occurring Professional participates as a member of a multidisciplinary team, providing mental health and substance use treatment services to patients and clients, including assessment and diagnosis, individual and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and ongoing care planning.   In the absence of the program manager, assume leadership and as possible, supervisory responsibility, of the clinic to ensure coordination of staff and clinical services and continuity of patient care. The Senior Director, Development provides leadership to the major gift and midlevel gift teams, and carries a portfolio of donors, prospects and potential prospects rated to have the capacity to give major gifts (cash, pledge or deferred) in excess of $100,000 The Senior Director creates and manages personal relationships with donors, potential donors, and fundraising process partners, primarily though face-to-face encounters. This position closes or plays a role in closing major gifts as a member of development teams that include beneficiary executives, other development officers and fundraising process partners. The Senior Director will pair leading best practices in the field with creative solutions to direct and align all aspects of fundraising activity of the development directors responsible for major and midlevel giving. The SD assists in establishing the strategic direction of the development department overall.
