This position is located in Center City, MN, approximately 40 miles north of the Twin Cities. As a core teaching faculty member, this position will be responsible for educating future leaders in addiction counseling who provide evidence-based integrated care for substance use and co-occurring disorders. This position innovates and continuously improves key education processes based on educational research, internal assessment data, and academic expertise, so that course offerings, teaching strategies and curriculum development demonstrate improved achievement of learning outcomes. Performs teaching, advising, and supervision duties in area of expertise.  Participates in the assignment, creation, coordination, and monitoring of clinical placements and internship/externship activities to provide high quality clinical experiences for students in alignment with the Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School mission, vision, values, goals, and priorities.  Provides orientation to placement sites, clinical supervisors, and students, and conducts periodic site-visits to placements outside of the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation.   This position may have responsibilities in on-campus and/or online programs.
