    Responsibilities

    The Systems Administrator is responsible to provide enterprise-wide administration to servers, operating systems, applications and utilities.  The Systems Administrator will act as a liaison and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to address business needs.   The Systems Administrator provides after hours and on-call support as required.  The Systems Administrator will work to ensure systems and service availability, reliability, and security in alignment with the needs of Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation’s strategic initiatives and related project deliverables.

    • Plans, develops, installs, troubleshoots, maintains and supports servers, operating systems, applications and utilities ensuring optimum system integrity, security, backup and performance.
    • Respond to escalations from the Service Desk and other IT staff to insure the functional operation of end-user systems.
    • Ensure the integrity of corporate network security to prevent unauthorized access to corporate technology resources both internally and externally.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or equivalent years of experience)
    • Passion and initiative regarding infrastructure as code, technology R&D, standardization, methodologies and processes, test environments, and documentation.
    • Recent experience in planning/designing/coordinating a minimum of one medium+ technology deployment project.
    • Strong understanding of Project Management concepts, with the ability to apply PM concepts and techniques
    • Demonstrated superior customer service skills
    • Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Minimum 3 years of experience with scripting/automation of work (PowerShell desired)
    • Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience with User Management in O365 & Active Directory; MS Server administration & related admin tools.
    • Lifecycle mgmt & change control experience

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Applicable certifications such as MCP, MCITP, MCSE, VMware, Citrix, Linux
    • Experience with Azure services including Cloud App Security & Azure Active Directory
    • Experience with VMware & services including vSphere and Workspace One
    • CompTia Security+ (or equivalent)
    • CompTia Network+ (or equivalent)
