    Responsibilities

    The incumbent is a member of the Development Services Group, a team of Development Services Associates (DSAs) who together are an essential part of the Integrated Development Team that incudes Development Services Officers (DSOs) and Development Officers (DOs). The incumbent achieves a level of team performance that maintains DO confidence in, and reliance on the team for essential support in frontline fundraising. DSAs are expected to maintain a without-exception level of work-product quality and on-time task completion. Cross-training in all forms of work within the Development Services Group is mandatory. The incumbent is co-located with the team in an open office environment with constant interactions and daily or hourly deadlines.

    • Development Services Group Team

      a.       DSA tasks as assigned. DSAs provide support by planning logistics for and executing Core Process-related events, data entry, record updates, call report editing and entry, database reporting and analysis, candidate, prospect and donor data management, DO travel arrangements and expense reports, prospect research, query creation, appeal management, reporting, gift receipting and a variety of other tasks as necessary to support frontline fundraisers.

      b.       Participation in cross-training

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (6 years of related work experience or Associates degree plus 4 years of related work experience)
    • Familiarity with CRM and relational databases and experience with database management
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills
    • Experience using Microsoft Office programs
    • Demonstrated attention to detail (including grammar and punctuation) and accuracy
    • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
