    As the Manager, Publishing Revenue Cycle and Financial Aid Administrator, you will manage the PES accounts receivable/credit and collections department to assure credit and collection policies and procedures are followed in a timely and proper manner to support the revenue goals of the PES division while maximizing Hazelden’s cash position. This position will manage all functions for Title IV funding by serving as the Financial Aid Administrator for the Hazelden Graduate School to ensure that all federal regulations are met, and be the Oracle Super-User for the AR module and advanced collections module.  Perform regression testing to   identify functional software failures.  Work with IT staff to correct all software failures to ensure the accurate processing of Publishing revenue and accurate posting of GL entries. 

    • Provide leadership and coaching for the PES Accounts Receivable/Credit and Collection department initiatives and staff to result in a well-qualified, empowered, informed and productive work force.
    • Manage the accuracy of PES accounts ensuring that processes are being adhered to in order to provide external customers quality service and accurate and timely billings while reconciling the accounts in the PES Accounts Receivable system to the General Ledger. Responsible to maintain the established bad debt write off rate and days outstanding in receivables.
    • Serve as the Financial Aid Administrator for the Title IV Federal Loan Program to assure compliance with guidelines established by the U.S. Department of Education.
    • Monitor sales tax compliance within the Oracle system
    • Perform the role of the Oracle super user for the functional area of Accounts Receivable and Advanced Collections to assure smooth operations of the Oracle applications.
    • As a supervisor, this position is responsible for:

      a.     Facilitating the selection, placement and development of new and existing employees

      b.     Conducting rounding and one-on-one performance communication sessions with direct reports to measure progress on goals, development plans and provide feedback on progress on a regular basis, including formal annual performance communication

      c.     Maintaining current job descriptions for all supervised positions

      d.     Maintaining awareness of Hazelden policies and procedures


    Required Qualifications:

    • Associate’s degree – Business/Accounting
    • 6 years directly related credit and collections experience
    • 5 years financial aid experience to include supervision/management of a financial aid office
    • 4 years accounting experience
    • Supervisory experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree – Business
    • Oracle experience – OM, AR, and GL modules
