    The Manager Addiction Program provide leadership and supervisory responsibility for the daily operations of substance use disorder services in a residential setting to ensure coordination of staff and clinical services and continuity of patient care.  Provide clinical supervision to students, and interns to facilitate development of clinical competency and ethical practice. Provide backup coverage and consultation in conjunction with other programs at the site.

    • Manage daily operations of substance use disorder services at structured recovery residence, assuring the services are delivered according to the standards of care and practice within the parameters established by the strategic plan and budget process.
    • Supervise staff and coach employee work outcomes to result in the implementation and achievement of goals and action plans.
    • Provide leadership and supervision within the applicable program and for licensed and unlicensed staff, and students/interns.
    • Efficiently interact with off-site business partners within the organization         
    • Continuously evaluate program workflows and initiate process improvements
    • Review and upgrade program specific policies and procedures as needed
    • Comfortable with implementation of clinical interventions that foster community building and group cohesion
    • Represent Hazelden Betty Ford services to various audiences to ensure consistent knowledge of services, processes and participation. 
    • Facilitate, demonstrate, and monitor staff communication of patient information to internal and external resources for patients according the Hazelden Betty Ford policy and procedures and consistent with Federal Confidentiality (CFR 42) and Health Information Portability and Privacy Act (CFR 45) and mandated reporting requirements. 
    • Provide back-up coverage substance abuse treatment services to patients in need according to the Hazelden Betty Ford standards of care as needed
    • Provide on-call coverage for after-hours and weekends


    Minimum Qualifications

    • Master’s Degree or currently enrolled in a clinical field such as social work or mental health counseling
    • LMSW or CASAC
    • Three or more years providing clinical supervision
    • Three or more years of management experience and/or training
    • Five or more years’ experience in the addiction field with a minimum of two years with Twelve Step facilitation

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master’s Degree in Addiction Studies or related field
    • LMHC, LMFC, LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LPCC or related field licensure
