    Responsibilities

    The Senior Administrative Assistant will provide administrative suppor to the Director and Operations staff.  Manage all aspects of day to day administrative office functions of Chelsea and Tribeca locations and act as the lead for the other administrative staff.  Provide coverage, administrative support and customer service at the front desk of the facility/s.  Act as the liason to corporate HR, IT, Facilities and telecommunications as well as facilitating safety officer responsibilities.  Collect key metrics and coordinate site data dashboard; select, train and oversee volunteers. This position will work collaboratively and independently in assisting with the completion of administrative activities including managing calendars; drafting, editing and proofreading documents and letters; providing support in creating documents and maintaining financial records ; overseeing the purchase and acquisition of all supplies, subscriptions, staff training etc. This position will interface with various customers and corporate deparements to provide service and support.

    Qualifications

    • Vocational or technical degree (2 year) required, Bachelor's degree in administration desired.
    • Must have five or more years directly related experience, including coordinating projects
    • Advanced administrative training or equivalent required
    • Knowledge of and proficiency with administration procedures and office administration required;
    • Must have demonstrated proficiency in computer technology and the ability to use various software applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Visio.
