    As an Accounting Analyst you will:

    • Maintain general ledger accounts and related activities for the production of financial statements and internal/external reports
    • Prepare journal entries and review accounting classifications, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
    • Analyze and prepare financial statements to ensure timeliness and accuracy
    • Reconcile, analyze and review general ledger accounts in preparation for month-end and year-end close
    • Be the expert of Oracle General Ledger and Oracle Projects modules, including participating in the processes for month end and fiscal year end.
    • Participate in, and coordinate the preparation of the external audit work papers.
    • Initiate and support the continual improvement of systems and processes





    • 4-5 years directly related experience
    • Knowledge of GAAP, accounting process data flow, general ledger processes/functions, IRS requirements
    • Analytical skills to include: Financial statement analysis, monitoring, and measuring.
    • Computer Skills to include: Accomplished in the use of spreadsheet software, including tables and graphs; Working knowledge of word processing and e-mail software; Proficient in the use of financial software systems, processes and data flow.
    • Communication and teamwork skills to include: Effective verbal and written communications with various levels of staff; Ability to understand and work with ambiguity; Ability to understand and work with conflicting perspectives.
    • Project management skills to include: Ability to direct and facilitate project initiatives to completion in a timely manner on budget; Demonstration of efficiency and organization in personal work habits.


    • Additional education, training, licensure, experience, etc.
    • Oracle financial end-user experience
    • Healthcare experience
    • Not-for-profit accounting experience
    • Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant
