This position works to build a supportive, engaging, and positive work environment by offering professional human resource services and consultation to employees and leaders, resulting in a high performing work force. Specific responsibilities include recruitment of leadership positions, on-boarding and orientation of leaders, employee relations and investigations, employee and leadership training and development, change management consultation, and project management.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Builds and maintains effective relationships with business units to support business objectives.
  • Partners with leaders to build and develop talent management strategies, methodologies, tools and metrics in support of overall business goals.
  • Creates an environment that encourages engagement and accountability.
  • Provide consultation on HR policies, procedures and systems.
  • Conduct investigations when presented with complex employee relations issues.
  • Coaches leaders and employees. 
  • Provide and/or coordinate employee and leader training and development.
  • Participate in the Human Resources department projects, teams, and assigned areas of expertise.
  • Facilitate the interface between corporate Human Resource initiatives and implementation within business region.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Assure a safe and secure environment for clients, staff, guests and visitors.





Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or relevant field

SPHR/PHR preferred

6- 9 years of experience in human resources business partner / generalist role

2 -3 years of demonstrated success in recruiting, employee relations, training, and organizational development/process consultation, including change management and workforce development experience

Must have strong communication, consultation, coaching and facilitation skills

Experience working in healthcare or nonprofit is desired, but not necessary
