Responsibilities

As a Health Services Technician (HST), you will:

  • Assist the professional nurse in providing nursing care, including administration of medications
  • Monitoring and reporting vital signs
  • Reporting change in patients conditions
  • Performing bedside care as directed by the Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Trained Medication Assistant and Nursing Assistant certification 
  • Must have one year experience as a CNA/TMA
  • Current CPR/AED certification
  • Must be 21 years of age or older and have a minimum of two years freedom from chemical use problems.
