Responsibilities

The Administrative Assistant will coordinate day to day administrative office functions, such as answering and directing callers, greating clients, ventors, visitors and creating a warm, welcome and safe environment. This position will work collaboratively with other administrative positions, Medical Assistant and the Director of Outpatient, in assisting with the completion of administrative activities including managing calendars; drafting, editing and proofreading documents and letters; providing support in creating documents and maintaining financial records and data collection dashboards ; overseeing the purchase and acquisition of all supplies, subscriptions, staff training etc. This position will interface with various customers to provide service and support.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School or equivalent
  • 2 years experience as an administrative assistant
  • Proficiency using MS Office 
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to multi-task, computer proficiency, written and verbal communication skills, and commitment to confidentiality

Preferred

  • Vocational or technical training
  • Strong candidates will be skilled in utilizing Excel spreadsheets, including mail merge functions, and/or databases; the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and ability to prioritize tasks in a busy office
