Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team and the patient to assist patients with financial or insurance questions.
  • Enter clear and timely documentation in the EHR. 
  • Insure Revenue Integrity
  • Maintaining a collaborative relationship with the multidisciplinary team, specifically the Addiction Counselors, Care Coordinators and Managed Care Specialists.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or at least 6 yrs of equivalent work experience
  • 2 or more years working directly with a patient population regarding insurance and finances
  • Previous experience working closely and collaboratively with other teams on the patients behalf
  • Previous experience with an Electronic Health Record and documentation
  • 1 year free from chemical abuse problems

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience working in the Addiction Treatment field
  • Experience with Cerner EHR
