Responsibilities

As the Supervisor of Addiction Technicians, you will:

  • Ensure the coverage of community based site with multiple programs with focus on patient safety and recovery environment.
  • Assist patients and staff in the treatment process within organizational guidelines, philosophies, and procedures.
  • Supervise and manage the daily operations of the addiction technician department.
  • Be responsible for the management and training of staff that are responsible for the safety and security of the patients.
  • Manage the schedule of the entire team to ensure adequate staffing coverage for the patients
  • Ensure that all staff are in compliance with necessary trainings, implement employee engagement initiatives,
  • Supervise the oversight of the addiction technician’s timecards, manage hiring for all new staff within the department, and provide regular and consistent supervision for staff in relation to performance.
  • In addition, engage in leadership team meetings and committees for facility and partner with other supervisors to ensure quality care is delivered to patients.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Three or more years providing clinical supervision in addiction or behavioral health
  • Five or more years’ experience in the addiction field with a minimum of two years with 12 step facilitation
  • License or certification from appropriate state or new out of state employees may be in process of getting appropriate license or certification (CAP, CAC, LMHT, LCSW)

Preferred

  • Master’s Degree in Addiction Studies or related field
  • MCAP or CAP, LMHC, LMFC, LCSW, LPC, LPCC or related field licensure (and eligible to transfer to FL)
