Responsibilities

  • Provide sound nursing supervision to an established team of RN's, LVN's and Medical Assistants.
  • Help drive patient care satisfaction and outcome measurements that stand out in the industry as top-notch care.
  • Assist the Clinical Nurse Manager with staffing and engage medical staff as we grow the services offered at the Rancho Mirage, California site.
  • Assist local and national teams with development and training on leading techniques of care in chemical dependency nursing.
  • To optimize assisting our staff with providing top level patient care, this shift may vary slightly (start and stop hours), to best meet patient care demands.
  • Priority of duties will be supervision of nursing staff, scheduling, client care and tasks as assigned by the Clinical Nurse Manager.

Qualifications

Required

  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Nursing or other leadership/supervision experience
  • Two yrs experience in addiction related nursing practice
  • Minimum 2 yrs freedom from chemical use problems
  • Must not have had a felony conviction or have been incarcerated as a result of a felony
  • Current BLS CPR/AED certification
  • Current RN license in the State of California

Preferred

  • Certification in Addictions Nursing (CARN) or 30 hrs CD assessment training
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
