Responsibilities

The Clinical Outcomes Analyst will serve as the primary analyst and manager of survey data collected by the Butler Center for Research to meet the data analytic needs of high-quality applied research projects, evaluation, and assessments for internal and external stakeholders (e.g., clinical leaders, executives, industry partners, peer-reviewed manuscripts, etc.). In addition, this position will have a special focus to supporting the data and reporting initiatives of our expanding family, children, and mental health services.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health or related degree, or 9 year’s related work experience in lieu of degree

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing complex data systems and data analyses

  • Proficient use of MS Office, database/data analytic, data visualization, and statistical software, including but not limited to: R, STATA, SQL, and PowerBI

  • Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers and stakeholders

  • Demonstrate initiative, creativity, flexibility, and a growth-mindset

  • Familiarity & working knowledge of laws protecting patient confidentiality, including:

    • 42 CFR Part 2 - Federal Confidentiality Regulations for Drug and Alcohol Treatment Records

    • 45 CFR Parts 160 & 164: (HIPAA) Privacy Rule

    • 45 CRF Part 46 – Human Subject Research

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior supervision and leadership experience, including training
  • Able to translate complex technical requirements into digestible information for lay audiences
  • Previous experience working in inter-disciplinary teams
  • Proficient in health informatics (statistics, machine learning) & database software, such as R, SQL, PowerBI, Azure Databricks, etc.
  • Previous experience in designing and developing real-time dashboards for data analytics
